Run by Canadian embassies and high commissions, CFLI funds small projects designed and carried out by local organisations. Each post publishes its own call, priorities and deadline on Global Affairs Canada's site, usually once a year.
Finnish embassies support local civil society through the Fund for Local Cooperation and publish calls for proposals on finlandabroad.fi.
Japanese embassies fund grassroots projects by non-profit organisations and local bodies under GGP (Kusanone). Each embassy publishes its own guidelines and application period.
Dutch embassies publish calls for proposals on netherlandsandyou.nl, most often under the Human Rights Fund (Mensenrechtenfonds) and sometimes for other local programmes.
Some Swiss embassies run small funds for local initiatives and announce the calls on their own pages of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs site.
